It's December!
I'm feeling really lazy today so I'm not gonna write much.
Calgary was lots and lots of fun. Friday, my birthday, we were drunk by 2 pm so we were in bed by 1230. Saturday we spent the whole day laying around watching movies and finally got up around 7 pm, to get ready, then we went to the zoo because they hand a bunch of christmas lights up. We went to eat after then we went to a bar cause it was another one of Scott's friends birthday. Scott's my friend from home that I was staying with there. We were there till 2, so that was my party night. Then Sunday we just came home. Other then that I've really got nothing else to say, like usual.
Hope your all doing good!

My birthday is in 7 days, exciting!!!!
On Saturday I went to the largest craft fair in western Canada, with Sandra, and I got my dad the COOLEST present, but I cant say what it is cause he reads this. Speaking of my dad, I saw him yesterday for about an hour and got my birthday presents and my parents got me a sewing machine! It's just a little travel one, but thats pretty good and I just have a little place to live.
We got our report cards on tuesday, well everyone but Janet and I did. They forgot to do ours! Who the hell forgets to do some report cards, there's only 13 of us to remember! They said it wouldn't be done till late Wednesday, and since my last day of school that week was wednesday morning, I have to wait till monday. You'd think if you forgot to do someones you'd make it your top priority since it was your mistake. But no, they don't do things like that.
Other then that there's really not alot to report about, just missing home, getting really annoyed with people in the city, and the city in general, wanting Christmas, and counting down that days till Calgary and home (6 and 27)
So I think I'm going to go do my laundry and make a little tiny Christmas tree so there's something Christmasy happening. Without the snow it does not feel like Christmas.

I'm really lazy today so I'm not going to say much.
2 WEEKS TILL MY BRITHDAY! Yay.
Schools pretty lame, classes kind of suck, so do the teachers, and were not really getting much homework. For most people that would be a good thing but for me that means free time, which means having to think of something to do, which means probably having to spend money. I guess I could ask to start working another night a week...which is what I just might do.
I have 3 and a half days off this week, it's been really boring. Tomorrow Sandra and I are going to Christams Street at The Bay then this craftsale, which isn't really crafts but clothes and stuff made by Vancouver people that are envrionmetnally friendly. I think I'll do the majority of my Christmas shopping tomorrow. Yah Christmas is coming up! Everyone here is like "It's too soon to think about Christmas" and I'm like "Dudes, its only 5 weeks away!"
I went to yoga wtih Angie on Tuesday and were going to a music thing at a coffee shop tonight...it'll be fun.
Ya that's about it, now I'm off to do homework and work up the energy to go to Superstore to get a Adnvent Calander!

So I just had my whole blog written, then deleted it by accident...
I can't belive it's already November, where did the year go?
Last wednesday, thursday and friday I was at my internship which is my favorite job ever, I really wish they needed help for more then those two.five days a month.
In styling (the best class ever) we went around Gastown (the part of Vancouver that my school is in) and looked for clothes for different projects. Maeve (my teacher) liked a couple of my ideas so on wednesday I get to play assistant and go get the clothes, take them to sthe studio she films her show at, and watch them filming. Isn't that exciting? Maeve is amazing, she does everything she can to help us make contacts in the industry.
On wednesday we went to the Robeez factory, which makes the cutest baby shoes ever. From cutting the leather to packaging the shoes it takes six minutes, isn't that amazing? They design and make them in Burnaby, but unfortunatly in January they're moving the production to China. The women who started the company got laid off from her airline job in the early 90's and then had her son. She started making him shoes out of her old leather purses and eventually started going to trade shows to sell them. She hired a couple people to help her sew the shoes in her basement. The compant started getting bigger and bigger and eventually she sold it to Striderite for $30 million. Isn't that so inspiring? You never know where your idea/life will be 15 years from now.
Today is my lazy homework day. So far I've been getting even more excited to move home because I was looking at craigslist and rent is so cheap in Winnipeg!
42 days till I'm home for Christmas!

I am a bag of lazy bones of fridays, I sleep in now, and do , random stuff on my comp for like two hours, before I start homework.
This wekk was pretty good cause I started new classes. On monday I had Marketing and Costume History, both were extremley boring. I was actually excited for history but it was just sooooo booooring, I really hope once we get into the 20th cententury it will be better cause I'm pretty much obsessed with the 70's right now.
Tuesday I had Textiles, boring but not as much as monday, and Styling. Styling is amazing! My teacher is Maeve Doyle, she has a show about fashion, but its only showed on Shaw, which is dumb, so I can't watch it. She's full of energy and is basically just awesome.
Wednesday I had Elements of Design 2, and it was pretty good. I get to design eight outfits with Sandra, and she wants to sew them all so thats really cool. Oh ya, in histroy I get to sew a flapper dress for my final project, Im pretty pumped.
Wednesday afternoon I did homework. Thursday I had breakfast with Dad then worked and bought new shoes for my early birthday present!
Now we\re here....I'm doing laundry, gonna make some pancakes, then do homework. Tonight I'm going to Angie's to hang out and then I work all weekend. It's very uninspiring. But next week I have my intership so that should be fun.
